  • Our organization is committed to supporting the city’s police, fire department, and emergency medical teams by showing appreciation for their service, fostering partnerships, and providing resources or care when needed.

    We strive to promote Alvin as a better place to live by engaging in community-building initiatives, creating spaces for connection, and celebrating the city’s unique qualities.

    Additionally, we are dedicated to supporting the homeless and those in poverty through acts of compassion, outreach programs, and initiatives that offer practical assistance and pathways to hope.

  • Christian churches are often divided and competing with one another, focusing on differences rather than the shared mission of the Gospel.

    Our organization desires to foster a kingdom mindset by building unity among churches, supporting pastors, and creating opportunities for collaboration.

    We are committed to helping fellow Christians find common ground to love, encourage, and work together in the name of Jesus, demonstrating the unity that Christ prayed for.

MISSION

The mission of Together for Alvin is to seek to unify and mobilize churches in Alvin in order to bring change for the better in the lives of people in our community. Together we are for Alvin.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Bible is inspired by God, serves as a trustworthy guide to life, and functions as the foundation for all we believe, say and do (2 Timothy 3:16).

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Jesus was fully God and fully man.
